I will handle all firearms as if they are LOADED.
I will keep my finger off the trigger when not immediately firing my weapon at my designated target.Finger must be out of the gun's trigger guard and off the trigger until your sights are aligned on a safe target and you have made the decision to fire.
I will always be certain of my target, direction of my shot, and the surrounding areas before firing.
I will never point my gun at something I do not intend to destroy. This includes all range equipment such as hangers, lines, walls, ceiling, and lights.
-A charge of $25 will be imposed for shooting the target retrieval system, mechanisms, or walls.
I will not, under any circumstances, handle my weapon outside of my shooter's stall. This includes the areas behind your stall, the retail showroom, parking lot, classroom, offices, and lobby lounge. Load and unload firearms within the shooters stall only.
I will not physically pass a gun back and forth to other shooters in adjoining stalls. Change stalls, not guns.
If anything falls in front of the firing line, do not attempt to retrieve it. This includes crossing, jumping, or leaning over the stall bench. A replacement target will be provided if needed. Please ask for assistance in retrieving any items should the fall past the firing line.
No persons who have been consuming alcoholic beverages or under the influence of drugs are allowed on range premises.
No practice drawing from a holster.
You are welcome to keep brass that went through your gun and you may retrieve it so long as it did not cross the firing line.
No aluminum or steel ammo is allowed. BRASS ONLY used in the range. No personal reloads, tracers, incendiary, or metal piercing ammo is allowed. Only handgun calibers below .44 MAG (.45 ACP is permitted) may be shot in the pistol range. Handgun caliber long guns can be shot in the Handgun (pistol) range.
To avoid skin contact with hot brass/spent casings, personal protective clothing and wear is highly recommended. This includes shirts or blouses that button to the neck, closed toed shoes, a cap or hat, safety glasses and ear protection. (Safety glasses and ear protection are available)
No smoking, food, or drinks are allowed inside the firing range.
Women who are pregnant or think they may be are advised to check with a medical professional for information and recommendations regarding risks prior to participating in range activities.
